In addition to the group’s regular painting days which are untutored, regular workshops are also organised throughout the year.
These are conducted by local professional artists to introduce a variety of styles and mediums for both members and non-members.
Recently the Kyneton Art Group held a book Binding class run by one of our members, Judith Place.
This was very enjoyable for all participants, and now we can take our books out and about and draw or paint different scenes.
No excuse now when you’re having a coffee, to take along your book and capture that moment in time.
Another very informative workshop conducted by award winning artist, Lyn Diefenbach.
It was a great opportunity for our members to learn some of Lyn’s techniques to produce amazing artworks in Pastels.
On the first day of the Pastel workshop, Lyn demonstrated this beautiful seascape painting.
And on the second day, Lyn demonstrated this lovely floral artwork.
Lyn’s work is very inspirational.
Our members gained so much from this very enjoyable workshop and many lovely pastel artworks were produced.
Here’s a few of the photos taken on the weekend of the 5th and 6th November.
In June, we were pleased to welcome back John Orlando Birt once again to demonstrate his watercolour techniques.
Many happy faces are shown here along with a photo of the watercolour artworks produced on the day.
Thank you John for another very enjoyable and informative workshop.
Our earlier workshop held in March focused on Floral Ink Painting.
Sofie Dieu’s informative and interesting class was enjoyed by all who attended.
Previous Workshop have been held with many award winning artists, including John Orlando Birt who conducted a watercolour workshop in June last year.
Here are a few images from John’s workshop
