Our Kyneton Art Group Annual Exhibition was on again over the weekend of the 9th & 10th September and was held for the first time at the Mechanics Institute in Mollison Street, Kyneton.
Each year our annual event is run in conjunction with the Daffodil & Arts Festival which commenced this year on the 31st August and continued through to the 10th September.
We congratulate our members; Judy Perfect, Gina Auciello, Stephanie Warr and Nadia Korinfsky who received awards at the opening of the Daffodil & Arts Festival. See below for further details.
Daffodil & Arts Festival 2023 Winners
Judy Perfect was the Winner of Esther Rose Memorial prize for Best Watercolour, “Daffodils & Camelias”
Stephanie Warr received a Highly Commended for her watercolour painting titled “Vase with Daffodils”.
Gina Auciello was awarded The Winner of the Daffodil & Arts Show Photography section for her artwork titled “In Bloom”.
Nadia Korinfsky also received a Highly Commended for her photographic artwork titled “Upper Coliban Reservoir”.

Our Winners this year went to;
Glen Boxshall – Winner in the Still Life section (sponsored by The Alchemist Kyneton)
for his oil painting titled “Red Jug and Pears”.
Anna Ressia McGrath – Winner of the Esther Rose Memorial Prize for best
watercolour titled: “Top of Mt. Buninyong, Ballarat”
Anna Ressia McGrath – Winner of the Floral/Garden section
watercolour titled: “Out of my Garden”.
Second winner of Floral garden section went to Gina Auciello for her acrylic painting titled; “Blushing”.
Jane Pittard – Winner Landscape/Seascape section – watercolour “Castello Venice”
Stephanie Warr received a Highly Commended Award for her painting; “Daffodils in Crystal Vase”
Judy Perfect received two Highly Commended Awards; for her watercolour “Dancer” and her mixed media artwork, “Lake Hattach”
Helen Atherton won People’s Choice Award for her pastel painting; “The Italian Fisherman”.
Helen Atherton also won the Best Fauna Award for her pastel artwork titled; “Tiddles the Pekin Cross”.
Allison Howarth received a Highly Commended Award in the Fauna section for her acrylic painting,
titled “Regal Cat Princess Lucy”.
Gina Auciello received first place in the Floral/Garden section for her acrylic painting “Blushing”.
It was a great event with over 600 visitors to the show over the weekend.
