In addition to the group’s regular painting days which are untutored,
regular workshops and demonstrations are organised throughout the year.
These are conducted by local professional artists to introduce a variety of styles and mediums
for both members and non-members.

Daniel held a demonstration on Tuesday, 8th July at the Red Brick Hall in Kyneton.
It was a fantastic morning with the amazing Daniel Butterworth who painted a portrait of Nancy Swain in just over an hour.
He then presented Nancy with the portrait!
Daniel then continued on another demonstration, a painting of the Red Brick Hall where we hold our activities.

Our members very much enjoyed a demonstration by Herman Pekel on Tuesday, 1st April. We were so pleased to have such a great artist sharing his knowledge and expertise on watercolour techniques with us.
For many years, Herman has often conducted workshops and demonstrations which have always been very enjoyable and beneficial for us to improve our artistic skills in colour and composition.
Herman is a multi-awarded painter. His numerous awards include winning the 1989, 1993, 1995 and 2006 Camberwell Rotary Watercolour Prize, the 2004 Camberwell Rotary Art Show’s Best Oil and the 1989 and 1993 Alice Bale Award. He was also a three-time finalist of the Camberwell Rotary Travel Scholarship.
Our workshop conducted by Ron Muller was very much enjoyed by all those who attended..

Another very informative workshop conducted by award winning artist, Lyn Diefenbach.
It was a great opportunity for our members to learn some of Lyn’s techniques to produce amazing artworks in Pastels.
On the first day of the Pastel workshop, Lyn demonstrated this beautiful seascape painting.
