‘My love of oil painting began over fifty years ago when I was given an oil painting set by my mother. Her mother, my grandmother, painted little watercolours. As a painter I enjoy doing landscapes, portraits and still life.

Over the years I have been privileged to be tutored by many professional artists.

One of them being Paul Borg (Director of Paul Borg Art School, St Albans), a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize.’

I won first prize for portraiture at our recent exhibition with this painting of my husband Royce. It is called ‘Royce’.
