Olive Chase

Olive has always had an interest in art and craft. She started china painting in 1981 and her enjoyment of this craft then lead her to expand into two-dimensional artwork. Olive’s work commitments meant that she could only pursue her love of painting occasionally, but this changed upon her recent retirement.

Joining the Kyneton Art Group has given Olive the opportunity to join other members each Tuesday to work together, discuss ideas and exhibit. Olive works mainly in acrylic, oil and watercolour, but is always looking to try new mediums to further her expertise. Her use of vibrant colour and a “naïve style” is her trademark, giving her work honesty and freshness.
