Judith Place

Judith enjoys pastel as the medium for her art. She worked in a group tutored by Barbara McManus for many years and has attended workshops by other excellent pastel artists.  Still Life with flowers and vintage  china  are favourite subjects, showing light with reflections and shadows.

After moving to the Macedon Ranges some years ago, Judith soon joined the Kyneton Art Group. She now exhibits with the Group in their Show, part of the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival.

AWARDS

Judith won both ‘First Prize’ in the portrait section and also the People's Choice Award for her painting titled " Maryla" at the Annual Exhibition and Sales held in September 2019. 

Judith was the Winner of the Portrait section in our Kyneton Art Group Annual exhibition 2022 for her pastel artwork titled ‘Concentration’.
