KAG Exhibition at Old Auction House

Another successful event held at the Old Auction House in 2021. 

The winner of people’s Choice award went to Jenny Chester with her painting  displayed here titled ‘Beautiful Mother Sapa Vietnam’.

An exhibition of their art and craft works held at ‘ART ON PIPER’ located in Piper Street in Kyneton which finished at the end of  February, 2020.

Annual Exhibition and Sales 2019

Our Annual Exhibition and Sales art show was held on the weekend of the 14th – 15th September, 2019.  Organised for the members of the Kyneton Art Group was held during the Daffodil Festival in Kyneton, located at St Paul’s Hall in Yaldwyn Street.   The event was well attended and sucessful for the group.  Prizes were awarded in several categories with total prize money of  approximately $1,500.  Here are the winner;

Allison Howarth  won three awards;

Lemon and Pear 2      First Prize  in Still Life and Flora
Apples                           Highly Commended in Still Life and Floral
Birdwatching               Highly Commended in Fauna

Judith Place won both ‘First Prize’ in the Portrait/Figurative section and also the People’s Choice Award for her pastel painting titled ” Maryla”

Ainsley McPherson won ‘First Prize’ in the Fauna section her artwork created in white charcoal, titled “Moonlight Owl”.

Glenn Boxshall won an award for his landscape oil painting titled ‘Lodden Valley View’.

Anna Ressia McGrath  won a ‘Highly Commended’ in the portrait section for her watercolour titled “La Primavera della vita”.

Claire Eadie was the winner of the ‘Expressionism Award’ for her painting called “The Shimmer Tree”.

Therese Kupper received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Landscape section for her Acrylic painting titled “Ïn the Trees”.

Stephanie Warr won the ‘Esther Rose Memorial Award’ for best watercolour for her painting titled ‘Daffodil and Wren’.  She was also awarded a Highly Commended in the Portrait/Figurative section for her acrylic painting titled ‘Good Times’.
