Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival Art Awards
The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival awards a prize worth $500 for an artwork containing daffodils was recently held from the 2nd to the 11th September.
The opening on the first of September at the Mechanics Hall in Kyneton was attended by many of our KAG members who participated in the event.
An exciting night particularly for our members, Jenny Chester and Anna McGrath who won the 2 main prizes.
Jenny won the Daffodil Art Prize and Anna was awarded the Esther Rose Memorial Art Prize of $200 for the best watercolour. Both these award winning paintings were also sold at the event.

Kyneton Art Group Annual Exhibition 2022
Kyneton Art Group Annual Exhibition 2022 was held on the second weekend of the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival at 28 Yaldwyn Street, West Kyneton.
Judged by local artist, Mary Lanarch-Jones, the prizes were announced on the opening night on the 9th September.

‘Cosmos’ which was created using pencils and gouache.
A Highly Commended
was presented to Jenny Chester for her mixed media painting
‘Maiko Half Jewel’
Winner of the Portrait section
went to Judith Place for her pastel artwork titled
The Winner in the Still Life category
went to Diana Donelan for her Pen & Ink artwork
‘Peter with Lemons’
Winner of the Esther Rose Memorial Award
