A love of drawing from an early age saw Jenny go on to complete a Diploma of Art and Design, specialising in graphic design. Early working years were spent as a freelance designer and illustrator in the publishing industry, then taking up a position in the Graphic Design Department of the Victorian Government Printing Office. Following the birth of her children, she returned to freelancing for publishers, government departments, tourism and Telstra. After many years as a Graphic Designer working long hours and meeting tight deadlines, Jenny moved into the fields of marketing and administration, leaving no time for her to pursue her love of art.
Moving from Melbourne to Glenlyon following her retirement, saw Jenny discover a new, fresh love of art and prompted her to take up her pencils and brushes again. Entering local art exhibitions, she saw her work sell and in 2018 she won the Kyneton Daffodil Art Show and was Highly Commended for her entry in the 2019 show. Joining the Kyneton Art Group in 2019 has been a great joy, meeting and creating with like-minded people who share a love of art.
