Ainsley McPherson

First taking up folk art, ceramics and oil painting and wanting to further her knowledge in art, Ainsley booked into many workshops learning different techniques and styles also completing the Soc. Teacher Development Program. Going on to firstly teach friends who asked her then going on to hold workshops and classes from her home and other studios as well as conventions in Vic and Qld. Starting on animals after being asked to do a portrait of a friends dog, she developed a love of capturing animals both domestic and wild. Ainsley has won many prizes in both Victoria and Queensland.

Ainsley recently won ‘First Prize’ in the fauna section her painting titled "Moonlight Owl" at the Annual Exhibition and Sales held in September 2019.
